The Slothy Kids Pillow is designed for ages 6 and up because shoulder width increases significantly at this age. However, every child develops differently. Lay your child on their side: If there is a noticeable gap between the ear and shoulder and their head falls down with their current pillow, you can switch even at age 5. Otherwise, the Slothy Baby Pillow (4cm) or an intermediate solution (6-7cm) might be more suitable.

Purotex is a probiotic (friendly bacteria) technology integrated into the pillowcase. As your child turns and moves on the pillow, these microorganisms activate and naturally neutralize dust mites. It is not a chemical treatment, so it is 100% safe for children's health. It retains its effectiveness even after washing at up to 40°C. Tencel is a natural fiber sustainably produced from eucalyptus trees. The Tencel-Purotex cover of the Slothy Kids Pillow is removable and machine washable at 40°C. It is recommended to wash it once a week or every two weeks. The latex inner filling is not suitable for machine washing. Simply wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it in the shade. Natural latex should not be exposed directly to sunlight (UV). Don't worry, the Probiotic Purotex technology retains its effectiveness even after washing.
